Since 2021, the Filmbüro Görlitz has supported both international and regional film productions with research, locations, contacts, and filming opportunities. On site, the Filmbüro is a welcoming point of contact for film enthusiasts, location providers, and creative service professionals – linking the region’s cinematic energy with the needs of modern productions.
The Filmbüro works closely with regional partners – including the Sächsische Filmakademie, which trains upcoming film talent, and Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung (MDM), the central funding institution for projects in Saxony and Central Germany.
